Downgrade my Ti-nspire

Boot 1: 3.0.0.99
Boot 2: 4.5.0.14
Initial letters: P - xxxxx
I have a USB/TTL converter but I don't know if it is possible to downgrade the operating system using it on my calculator. I saw a pdf about this from a colleague on the forum explaining how to do this step by step.
