Installation du switch Ndless 3.1/3.2/3.3/3.6

j'ai fais ce que tu as dit mais est ce que l'os c'est bien ndless installer 3.1.0.tcc. car l'envois de l'os a la calculatrice est long, le téléchargement reste a la moitié

C'est normal que l'ordi bloque - l'installation de Ndless coupe la connexion USB.
Mais qu'affiche la calculatrice pendant ce temps?

pour vérifier si ndless est bien installé, ouvre le fichier ndless-ressource que tu as du envoyé avant l'installation. S'il te propose de désinstaller ndless, c'est bon. (réponds non bien sur)

Dear All,

I installed the Ndless 3.2 Switching pack succesfully on a TI nspire CAS (non CX), I used the CAS subdir, exactly as decribed in the starting post.

But Ndless stopt working, before the install I could run the Particles demo,
now the calculator gives a error:

"The document format is not supported particles.tns"


I can switch to 3.2.3.1233 CAS version using the rename and then reset.


It seems to me there is a wrong image in the Ndless Switching pack..

Can someone help me on this one,

Have you first install tho os 3.1 ?
Have you used the pack for nspire non cx ?

Where do you exactly have a probleme in the list (first page) ?

Hi Diot,

btw. I own a TI-nspire CAS Touchpad.

I first installed OS 3.1.0.392 CAS then Ndless-v3.1-beta-r903, I tested Ndless by executing the Particles demo, worked fine.

Then I installed the Ndless 3.2 CAS Switching pack, I can swich to 3.2.3.1233 CAS version using the rename and then reset.

But when I revert to Ndless 3.1.0.392 by renaming Phoenix.back to Phoenix, the Nspire boots 3.1.0.392, but Ndless stops working..

When I try to execute the same particles demo as before I installed the Switching pack, it fails to execute, and the nspire give the message:
"The document format is not supported particles.tns"

Perhaps I need to reinstall Ndless, but it seems other user have no issues.. I did the installation of the Switching pack several times and run into the same issue over and over.


If someone have suggestions.. pse help me out on this one..

You're right. The switching pack does include an old modified ndless-ressources.tns image, which was needed when Ndless 3.1 was not compatible with Nlaunch.

This is not the case with the latest Ndless builds anymore - just put the latest ndless-ressources.tns file included in Ndless.

I'm going to update the tutorial, the readme, and to remove this old file from the pack.

Dear Critor and Diot,

I did a fresh OS install of 3.1.0.392 CAS, then Ndless-v3.1-beta-r903.

Then I installed the Ndless 3.2 CAS Switching pack, and I kept ndless-ressources.tns in the ndless directory, also tried sending ndless-ressources.tns and then the nlaunch.tnc file.

The nspire is now in a reboot loop with "234" in the upper left corner and "1" obove the TI-nspire trade mark..

I tried several times.. same reboot loop..

I am back to where I started a working nspire CAS touchpad with fresh OS install of 3.1.0.392 CAS, then Ndless-v3.1-beta-r903 working perfect..
But I would like to use 3.2 as well

When you use the switch, the Nspire reboots twice... that's normal !
Your symptoms are not clear...
